CHALLENGE
2020 put a stop to every fan event. So how can DC Comics parent Warner Bros. manage two of their biggest events, Comic-Con and E3, amidst a pandemic?
The answer was to launch a 24-hour virtual event called “DC Fandome”. And one of its most anticipated attractions was an interactive funhouse inviting fans to step inside the Joker’s head. This first-of-its-kind virtual escape featured 3 different interactive challenges to test fans’ Joker-ness.
SOLUTION
Working with the agency Sid Lee, I helped craft the rich interactive storyline and wrote original dialogue for step of the experience: instructions, encouragements, and mocking — all in the voice of the Clown Prince of Darkness. Here’s the case study:
